Inland Aggregates celebrates the grand opening of Pine Ridge.
Winnipeg, September 12, 2008 - A 27 million dollar investment in the Rural Municipality of Springfield, by Inland Aggregates Limited, will supply Winnipeg with quality aggregate products that will support the city’s infrastructure re-development and booming construction market. With steady economic growth and over 1.5 billion dollars in new construction slated for the area, Inland’s fully automated operation is located in close proximity to the Greater Winnipeg Area, at Pine Ridge within the Birds Hill deposit.

Cement Industry Honours Lehigh Hanson Canada Cement Plant for Community Outreach Programs
Ottawa, May 5, 2008 - The Cement Association of Canada (CAC), Portland Cement Association (PCA) and Cement Americas magazine acknowledged the achievements of the Lehigh Hanson Canada Cement Plant in Edmonton, Alberta, as part of the 2008 Cement Industry Energy and Environmental Awards. The plant was a runner-up in the Outreach category, which recognizes facilities that strive to enhance community, employee and government relations through innovative programs and communication efforts. Inland Aggregates Completes Wash Plant Upgrade
In response to increasing market demand, Inland Aggregates completed construction of a new wash plant in Villeneuve, Alberta to better serve its major market, Edmonton, Alberta. The new plant is well equipped and far superior to its predecessor, generating 600 metric tonne per hour of higher quality aggregate. The new plant also boasts an automated load-out system. When a driver pulls up to one of the three stockpiles, all that is required is a swipe of the card. The load-out system then fills the truck to the specifications listed on the card.
This project will carry Inland Aggregates’ operations well into the 21st century as a leader in the industry.
Inland Concrete Limited Opens New Plant in Strathcona County
Inland Concrete's new $5.8 million facility in Sherwood Park, Alberta, uses new technology, increases production capacity and is environmentally friendly. The new plant produces 144 cubic metres of concrete per hour which translates into approximately 150 to 175 truckloads per day.
